St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Proudly Supports National Teen Driver Safety Week
In observance of National Teen Driver Safety Week (October 18th – 24th) the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office conducted seatbelt and cell phone compliance checks at all three area high schools. During these checks, a total of 29 violations were observed.
Sheriff Tim Cameron and the men and women of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office remind all teen drivers to fasten their seat belts and refrain from using the cell phone while driving. The Sheriff’s Office will continue to conduct traffic enforcement in the future.
