Arrests 10/15 – 10/28

10-21-2015 – Property Destruction – Deputy T. Wesner responded to the 22000 block of Cornwall Drive in California, for the report of a property destruction in progress. The victim alleged the suspect, Evelyn Silvianne Taylor, age 63, of California, removed a piece of the victim’s privacy fence. The victim also alleged Taylor assaulted the victim during a confrontation. The victim displayed injuries consistent with the allegations. Taylor was arrested and charged with Malicious Property Destruction and 2nd Degree Assault. CASE# 61763-15

10-22-2015 – Theft – Deputy S. LeFave responded to the Best Buy in California, for a reported theft in progress. The suspect, Gina Patricia Kennedy, age 26, of Chaptico, attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise. Kennedy presented a false Maryland Identification Card to the officer during her arrest. A search of Kennedy revealed strips consistent with Suboxone. Kennedy was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with Theft under $1000, CDS Possession: Not Marijuana, and False Statement to Officer. CASE# 62020-15

10-25-15 – Theft – Deputy T. Siciliano responded to the 21000 block of Liberty Street in Lexington Park, for the report of theft. Further investigation revealed, suspects Ashley Nicole Tippett, age 23, of No Fixed Address and Tami Marie Tompkins, age 40 of Lexington Park, stole personal items from several different victims. The suspects were transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.  Ashley Nicole Tippet was charged with Two Counts of Theft $1000 to under $10,000, Theft Less than $1000, Three Counts of Less than $100, Theft Scheme $1,000 to under $10,000 and Destruction of Property Less than $1000. Tami Marie Tompkins was charged with Two Counts of Theft $1000 to under $10,000, Theft Less than $1000, Three Counts of Less than $100, Theft Scheme $1,000 to under $10,000 and Destruction of Property Less than $1000 and served an Active Bench Warrant. 10-24-2015 – Trespassing – Deputy A. Cole responded to the IHOP located in Lexington Park, for the report of crowd control with disorderly individuals. The suspect, Joel Lenard Butts II, age 23 of Lexington Park, refused to leave the establishment after several requests from officers. Butts was placed under arrest and was given multiple commands to stop resisting and to put his hands behind his back. Butts was arrested and transported to the  St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with Trespassing, Disturbing the Peace, Failure to Obey and Resisting Arrest. CASE# 1-15-062268

10-24-2015 –  Disorderly Conduct – Deputy G. Mushchette responded to the 21000 block of Card Road in Lexington Park, for domestic disturbance in progress. The suspect, Rico Kinata Keys, Jr, age 20, of Great Mills, was escorted off private property where he was unwelcome. He returned a few moments later and ignored requests from Deputy Muschette to leave the property.  Keys was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Trespassing and Failure to Obey Lawful Order. CASE# 662293-15

10-27-2015 – Theft – Deputy A. Schultz responded to the 22000 block of Three Notch Road in California, for a reported theft. The suspect was observed going into the bathroom several times with a full bag of items and exiting with an empty bag of merchandise. The suspect, Amanda Lynn Abell-Morgan, age 33, of Callaway, attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise. She was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. Morgan was charged with Theft Less Than $1000 and Destruction of Property Less Than $1000. CASE# 62964-15
