Wanted Individual- Callie Anne Whitney

 

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of Callie Anne Whitney, age 22 of Lexington Park. Whitney is wanted for escape for violating the terms and conditions of her release to a treatment facility in Anne Arundel County.  Whitney is a black female, 5’6” and weighs 130 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Identity Needed for Counterfeit Money Suspects

 
The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office is seeking the identity of the two suspects pictured in a counterfeit money investigation. On Friday, Nov. 13, 2021 between 3:20-3:31 pm, the suspects purchased inexpensive items with three counterfeit $100 bills at the California Walmart store and received genuine cash as change.

Maximum Deployment 2021

 

Captain David Yingling addresses St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Deputies and Maryland State Police Troopers at the California Walmart on Friday as Maximum Deployment begins. 


For the 10th year in a row, Maximum Deployment is underway today as the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and Maryland State Police employ high visibility patrols and increased police presence at local shopping centers, roadways and neighborhoods.

UPDATE-Double Homicide Investigation in Lexington Park

UPDATE: Wayne Carroll Key Jr., age 42 of Lexington Park, has been located and arrested. Detectives from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division are continuing the investigation. 

UPDATE: The victims of the double homicide have been identified as Martina Lynn Patterson, age 37, and Lyneasha Justice Greenwell, age 6, both of Lexington Park. A warrant has been issued for Wayne Carroll Key Jr., age 42 of Great Mills for the following charges:

Murder First Degree (two counts)

Murder Second Degree (two counts)

Assault First Degree (two counts)

Assault Second Degree (two counts)
