Preliminary Update from Accident Reconstruction Team
On September 23, 2015, Sheriff Timothy K. Cameron was on the scene of a personal injury accident assisting patrol deputies with the investigation. A firetruck responded to the scene and was maneuvering into position when it struck Sheriff Timothy K. Cameron. The Sheriff was transported to MedStar St. Mary's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. This case remains under investigation by Corporal Brian Connelly of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team for further review with the States Attorney’s Office. Sheriff Timothy K. Cameron would like to thank the community for their thoughts and well-wishes for a speedy recovery.
