Theft under $1000 – On September 6, 2015, Corporal D. Corcoran responded to the 46000 block of Jeeter Way in California, MD, for a reported theft. The victim reported their mountain bicycle was stolen. On September 9, 2015, Corporal D. Corcoran observed the same bicycle on the ground in front of the Wawa on Three Notch Road in California. Corporal Corcoran made contact with the suspect, Eric D. Booker, age 21, of Lusby. He was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. Domestic Assault – On September 10, 2015, Deputy A. Schultz responded to the 21000 block of Graystone Lane in Lexington Park, for an assault. The victim alleged the suspect, William B. Bush, age 61, of Lexington Park, slammed the victim to the ground and then strangled the victim during an argument. The victim displayed injuries consistent with the allegations. Bush was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with 2nd Degree Assault. CASE# 53312-15

Assault – On September 10, 2015, Deputy J. Wilson responded to the 28000 block of Point Lookout Road in Morganza, for a reported assault. The victims alleged the suspect, Datavis J. Berry, age 18, of Hollywood, fired a BB gun at the victims. Subsequently, he did strike one of the victims who displayed injuries consistent with the allegations. Further investigation revealed Berry stole property from one of the victims, which led to a verbal altercation. Berry was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with two counts of 1st Degree Assault, two counts of 2nd Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Theft Less than $1000. CASE# 53497-15

Indecent Exposure – On September 11, 2015, Deputy M. Pleisse responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, for a reported indecent exposure. The suspect, Amanda R. Hartmann, age 24, of Leonardtown, exposed herself to correctional officers after several request to cover herself properly. Possession – On September 13, 2015, Deputy K. Flelage responded to the 27000 block of Thompson Corner Road in Mechanicsville, for a reported hit-and-run motor vehicle accident. A lookout was placed on the suspect’s car, and the vehicle was located approximately two miles from Thompson Corner Road at Aviation Yacht Club Road and Route 234. The car did have damage consistent with a hit-and-run. Deputies identified, Austin J. Rogers, 19, of Mechanicsville, as the driver. A routine pat-down revealed drug paraphernalia consistent with marijuana and heroin. Rogers was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with CDS Possession, not Marijuana: Heroin, two counts of CDS Possession Paraphernalia, Failure to Stop after Accident and Failure to Notify Owner of Property Damage. CASE# 54104-15

Domestic Assault – On September 11, 2015, Deputy B. Foor responded to the 22000 block of Orchid Bloom Way in Lexington Park, for a reported assault. The victim alleged the suspect, Patrick A. Churchwell, age 29, of Lexington Park, pushed the victim to the ground, pulled the victim’s hair and began to strangle the victim. The victim displayed injuries consistent with the allegations. Armed Robbery – On September 12, 2015, Deputy J. Kirkner, responded to Midway Drive in Lexington Park, for a reported armed robbery. The victim was going to purchase Xanax but then decided to back out of the deal. The victim attempted to exit the vehicle operated by Ricky D. Thomas, age 24, of Lexington Park. Thomas would not let the victim exit the vehicle, demanded payment and then assaulted the victim. Thomas was located at his residence operating the same vehicle that matched the victim’s description. After a short foot chase, deputies apprehended Thomas. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Robbery, Armed Robbery, 1st Degree Assault, and Theft under $100.00 and Second Degree Assault. CASE# 53911-15
