Burglary- On September 19, 2018, Cpl. Ruest responded to the 46000 block of Rogers Drive in Lexington Park, for a reported assault. Investigation determined Keith Leonard Mackall, age 55 of Lexington Park, forced his way into a residence, and punched the victim repeatedly. The victim had several visible injuries from the assault. Mackall was arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 50075-18

Theft- On September 20, 2018, Dep. Budd responded to the 46000 block of Lexington Village Way in Lexington Park, for the reported theft. Investigation determined Benjamin Jamal Washington, age 18 of Leonardtown, and Micah Robert Lee, age 19 of Riverdale, left the Kohl's store with items that were not purchased. Washington and Lee were located in the area and the property was recovered. Washington and Lee were charged with Theft, via Criminal Citations. CASE# 50242-18 (No Photographs Available)
Assault- On September 21, 2018, Dep. M. Beyer responded to the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Rodney Anthony Dickerson, age 49 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by grabbing the victim and pushing the victim during an argument. The victim sustained visible injury as a result of the assault. Dickerson was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 50499-18

Assault- On September 21, 2018, Dep. Forbes responded to the 46000 block of Sell Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Karen Louise Ferriter, age 49 of Lexington Park, confronted a group of individuals in the neighborhood and began yelling racial slurs. During the incident Ferriter grabbed one victim by the neck, and when another victim interceded Ferriter produced a pocket knife, and cut the second victim on the chin. Ferriter was arrested and charged with Assault First Degree and Assault Second Degree. CASE# 50497-18

Assault- On September 21, 2018, Dep. Forinash responded to the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, for the reported disturbance. Investigation determined Randy Dwayne Moore, age 19 of Lexington Park, was involved in an altercation with the victim. During the altercation, Moore produced a folding knife and slashed the victim. Moore then continued to attempt to stab the victim, and at one point was disarmed by a witness. Moore then began to repeatedly punch the victim, and attempted to gain access to his knife. The victim was able to flee the scene. Moore was arrested and charged with Assault First Degree, Assault Second Degree, and was also served with an outstanding warrant from Washington, DC, for Robbery. 9/22/18- Corporal Hartzell responded to the 44000 block of Tall Timbers Road, in Tall Timbers for the check the welfare. Upon arrival Wayne Kerry Smith, age 56 of Callway, was attempting to leave in a vehicle. Contact was made with Smith, who had obvious signs of impairment. Smith was found to be operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol and was charged with Driving While Impaired by Alcohol, Driving a Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Driving Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol Per Se.
