Theft,
Trespassing: On Sept. 6, 2018, Dep. John Fenwick responded to the Sheetz store
in Great Mills for the report of a theft. Fenwick approached Natasha Maureen
Kelly, 32, of Lexington Park who admitted that she had taken some items from
the store. She stated she would pay for the items and made a stupid mistake. A
store employee advised that a No Trespass order was in place from the store.
Kelly was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation
Center in Leonardtown and charged with Trespass: Private Property and Theft

Assault: On
Sept. 7, 2018, Dep. Phillip Henry responded to the 17000 block of River Road in
Piney Point for the report of a disturbance. The deputy made contact with the victim
who advised that Desean Samuel Hornback, 32, of Piney Point head-butted the
victim and scratched the victim’s upper lip. The victim had visible injury to
the face, upper lip and the victim’s right eye was swollen and bruised.
Hornback was arrested, transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and
Rehabilitation Center and charged with Second-Degree Assault. CASE# 47392-18
