After further review of video surveillance and interviews with
witnesses, detectives believe the same suspect is responsible for
both robberies. Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying this suspect. Please, take another look at the video below, which is better quality.
UPDATED DESCRIPTION: The suspect is a white male in his late 30's to early 40's, approximately 6 feet 1 inch in height, with a large build, and graying facial hair or short beard. The suspect may also walk with a altered stride or wide gate.

On June 10th, at 11:53 PM, the Burchmart on Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville, was robbed.
On June 11th, at 8:25 AM, the Dollar General store on Old Village Road in Mechanicsville, was robbed.
In both robberies, the suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing blue jeans, a dark long sleeved shirt, with a bandanna on the top of his head. The suspect threatened cashiers and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
