Between 6/9/15 and 6/22/15, Patrol
Officers from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to various
businesses throughout the county for burglar alarm activations. Upon their arrival, officers observed the
front glass entrance doors to the businesses had been shattered. Once the glass
had been broken, suspects entered the businesses and removed various items of
value to include “scratch off” tickets and U.S currency. Subsequently, the investigations
were transferred to the Criminal Investigations Division (CID).
Detectives were able to connect the
suspects, Kabriahna Bonds, 22 years old, of Lexington Park, Kevin Proctor, 19
years old, of Lexington Park, and Robert Proctor, 26 years old, of no fixed address, with property taken from one of the businesses. Search and seizure warrants
were executed at a residence in Lexington Park and on a vehicle used in the
burglaries resulting in the recovery of evidence implicating the suspects.
Both Kabriahna Bonds and Kevin Proctor
were charged with four counts of second degree burglary, one count of attempted
second degree burglary, one count of theft $10,000 to under a $100,000, three
counts of theft $1,000 to under $10,000 and five counts of malicious
destruction of property. Both remain
incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. Bonds is being held on a $50,000 bond and
