Suspect Charged After Pointing Gun at Tow Driver - Fenwick

Lexington Park, Maryland - On April 22, 2015, at 10:20 PM, Deputy Muschette responded to Fox Chase Drive, for the report of a man with a gun. A caller to 9 1 1 provided a description of  the suspect with the gun. Deputy Muschette observed two subjects in the area matching the description and they were detained. 

The investigation revealed, the victim, a tow truck driver for Precision Towing, alleged the two subjects became angry at him for being in the apartment complex. During the exchange, one of the two subjects, identified as suspect Mark Albert Fenwick, age 22, of Lexington Park, produced a handgun. Fenwick then pointed the handgun at the victim. Fearing for his life, the victim quickly got into the truck and left, while Fenwick ran into a nearby stairwell in the apartment complex. 

During the incident, Fenwick threatened to shoot another resident in the apartment complex after the resident looked outside to see what was happening. 

Fenwick was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. He was charged with 1st Degree Assault. CASE #23060-15
