Help SMCSO Identify a Thief Who Stole Signs


The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help to identify the suspect or suspects responsible for the theft of 8 road signs and 12 spring loaded stands.
 
Between Friday, September 12, 2014, 5:00 PM and Monday, September 15, 2014, 8:00 AM, suspect(s) stole road construction signs and spring loaded stands along Point Look Out Road in the area from Great Mills to the College of Southern Maryland. 
 
All of the signs are made of aluminum and are orange with black lettering. Six (6) of the signs are diamond shaped and measure 48” x 48” and are worded like those pictured below. Also taken were a 1’x3’ “GROOVES” sign and a 2’x3’ “STAY IN LANE” sign.
