Assault- On January 9, 2020, Dep. Fretwell responded to the 21200 block of Oakley Road in Abell, for the reported assault. Investigation determined John NMN Money III, age 47 of Mechanicsville, assaulted the victim by striking the victim in the face, causing visible injury. Money was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 1676-20

Assault- On January 10, 2020, Dep. Manns responded to the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, for the reported assault. Investigation determined David Timothy Knott, age 34 of Lexington Park, and John Ignatius Chisley, age 48 of Ridge, engaged in mutual confrontation where both parties sustained visible injury. Knott and Chisley were both charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 1854-20

Assault- On January 10, 2020, Dep Forbes responded to the 47800 block of Janet Lane in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Joseph Gregory Deering, age 27 of Lexington Park, struck the victim in the face and pushed the victim into a wall, during an argument. Deering was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 1987-20

Drug Arrest- On January 11, 2020, Dep. Forinash conducted a traffic stop in the 21600 block of Pacific Drive in Lexington Park. The individual operating the vehicle was identified as Rico Kinta Keys Jr., age 24 of Lexington Park. Observed in plain view in the vehicle was plastic packaging containing suspected marijuana. A search of the vehicle yielded plastic packaging in a cigarette pack containing suspected cocaine. Keys was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession-Marijuana plus 10 grams. CASE# 2087-20

Drug Arrest- On January 11, 2020, Dep. T. Snyder responded to the 45400 block of Miramar Way in California, for a check the welfare. It was reported an individual was yelling at vehicles in the parking lot. Contact was made with Jacob John Joseph Mishou, age 28 of Mechanicsville. Mishou was found to have a hypodermic needle he was attempting to conceal and an additional hypodermic needle was observed in plain view in Mishou's vehicle. A vehicle search was conducted and yielded a folded lottery ticket containing suspected heroin. Mishou was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession- Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession- Paraphernalia. Obstructing and Hindering/Fail to Obey Lawful Order- On January 11, 2020, Dep. Luffey responded to the 21300 block of First Road in Lexington Park, for the reported active disturbance. Upon arrival contact was made with James Travis Moore, age 30 of Lexington Park. Moore was standing next to a vehicle where a female was seated and refused to move and allow officers to check the welfare of the vehicle occupant. Numerous directions were provided to Moore who was combative and refused to cooperate with deputies on scene. Moore was arrested and charged with Obstructing and Hindering and Fail to Obey Lawful Order. CASE# 2170-20

Assault First/Second Degree- On January 12, 2020, DFC. M. Beyer responded to the 49300 block of Holland Manor Drive in Ridge, for the reported disturbance. Investigation determined Felton Niles Rothwell, age 56 of Ridge, assaulted the victim during an argument. During the argument, Rothwell used a box-cutter to cut the victim's hand, causing injury. Rothwell was arrested and charged with Assault 1st and 2nd Degree. CASE# 2310-20
