On-View Arrests:
Assault- On September 1, 2019, Cpl. Ruest responded to the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center for the reported assault between inmates. Investigation determined Machiavelli Tyzhae Savoy, age 20 of Lexington Park, and Kottie Deon Fauntroy, age 36 of District Heights, were involved in a disagreement. While the two parties were arguing, Savoy and Fauntroy both assaulted each other. Savoy and Fauntroy were charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 50096-19

Assault- On September 1, 2019, Dep. Hersh responded to the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center for the reported assault. Investigation determined David Eric Strain, age 32 of California, refused to return property, and slapped the victim. Strain was charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 50032-19

Drug Arrest/DUI- On September 2, 2019, Cpl. Tirpak conducted a traffic stop in the 48100 block of Baywoods Drive in Lexington Park. Darius Timothy Woodland Jr., age 24 of Leonardtown, was determined to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated and arrested. Located on Woodland's person was a small scale covered with a white powder (suspected cocaine). Woodland was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana, CDS: Possession-Paraphernalia, Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While Impaired, and Driving Vehicle on a Highway without Required License. False Statement- On September 3, 2019, Dep. McClure responded to the 21600 block of Forest Park Road in Lexington Park, for the check the welfare of an individual walking in the roadway. Contact was made with Samuel Alexander Hill, age 31 of Waldorf. Hill reported an assault however provided a different name of the victim various times and through investigation it was determined no crime had occurred and Hill provided false information. Hill was arrested and charged with False Statement to Officer. CASE# 50370-19

Drug Arrest- On September 4, 2019, Dep. Westphal responded to the 30300 block of Triangle Drive in Charlotte Hall, for the reported welfare check of a female sleeping in the pharmacy of the business. Contact was made with Christina Suzanne Buckler, age 41 of Mechanicsville, who was sleeping in a chair. Buckler had an outstanding warrant for her arrest and was taken into custody. Located on Buckler was a straw in a clear baggie; the baggie contained a light brown powdered substance (suspected heroin). A white pill suspected to be Buprenorphine was also located. Buckler was arrested and served her outstanding warrant and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession-Paraphernalia. CASE# 50690-19
