On September 2, 2019, at approximately 7:30 p.m. deputies from the
St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 21300 block of Great Mills
Road in Lexington Park for a possible drowning. A complainant contacted 911 and advised an
acquaintance entered a lake on the south side of Quatman Road and was not able to be located. Numerous agencies including the Calvert
County Dive Team, responded to assist in the search for the victim. The victim,
later identified as Nathaniel Warren Rosengrant, age 34 of no fixed address,
was located deceased in the lake by divers.
Detectives from the St. Mary’s County
Criminal Investigations Division responded and are continuing the
investigation. Anyone with information
