Leonardtown, Maryland - On March 22, 2015, 3:38 AM, deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on Point Lookout Road in the area of Juniors Court. Deputies located a 1996 Cadillac Seville resting in the woods against a tree. The operator, identified as Daniel Mark Boarman, age 50, of Mechanicsville, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Members of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. Preliminary investigation indicated the vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a tree. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
