Detectives Need Help Identifying Robbery Suspect & Person of Interest - Quick Shop

UPDATE 3-12-15: The person of interest HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED. 

Lexington Park, Maryland - On March 9, 2015, at 9:06 PM, Sheriff’s Office patrol units responded to the Quick Shop located on Great Mills Road, for the report of an armed robbery.  Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division were contacted and subsequently responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.

Detectives determined a black male entered the business armed with a handgun, approached the clerk, and demanded money.   The clerk complied and the suspect fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. The suspect struck the clerk with the handgun on his way out of the business. 

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5-10 in height, wearing all dark clothing and a dark colored mask. The suspect is pictured below.

A second person of interest was observed in the store moments before the robbery. The person of interest is pictured below.



Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying both individuals depicted in the attached images.
