Incident Briefs 7-10-14

7-9-14 ATTEMPTED FRAUD - A victim, who resides in Lexington Park, reported he received a phone call from a male suspect with a foreign accent who told him he had won 1 million dollars and a new Mercedes. He requested the victim go to a local Western Union for more instructions. The victim went to a Western Union and learned the phone call was likely a scam. Corporal Kirkner called the suspect, who became irate and told him the "Bureau of Investigations" would be calling him back. Case #37184-14

7-9-14 ATTEMPTED BURGLARY A victim, who resides on Swartzkopf Drive in Lexington Park, reported unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter his residence by removing the screen. Case remains open. Case #37211-14

7-9-14 VANDALISM - A victim reported unknown suspect(s) scratched the side of her vehicle. The victim had been shopping at various locations and did not know when the damage occurred. Case #37175-14
