ARRESTS 6-18-14 TO 6-23-14


1st DEGREE ASSAULT – On June 18, 2014, Corporal E. Johnson responded to a residence in the 39000 block of Birch Manor Drive in Mechanicsville, for a reported assault with a motor vehicle. Two separate victims alleged suspect Reginald Alan Price, 49, of Leonardtown, intentionally struck them with his vehicle after he was told to leave the residence. Price also threw a brick at a third victim’s vehicle, which smashed out the rear window. Price then ran over a SMECO electrical transformer and a chain link fence with his vehicle. Price was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with 3 COUNTS of 1st Degree Assault, 2 COUNTS of Property Destruction over $1,000, and Property Destruction Under $1,000.

ASSAULT – On June 19, 2014, Corporal Connelly responded to a residence on Waterview Drive in Mechanicsville, and made contact with a victim who reported suspect Randy Allan Boarman, 27, of Mechanicsville, assaulted the victim on 6-18-14 during an argument. Boarman allegedly threw the victim to the floor and slammed the victim’s head into the floor. The victim left the residence. When the victim returned Boarman began assaulting the victim again. The victim had numerous injuries consistent with what occurred. Boarman was located and placed under arrest. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with 2nd Degree Assault.

ASSAULT – On June 20, 2014, Deputy Kerns responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center for a fight between inmates. The investigation revealed suspect David Robert Lowe, 29, of Great Mills, struck the victim inmate in the head several times with his fist. Lowe was charged with 2nd Degree Assault.

1st Degree Assault/1st Degree Burglary – On June 20, 2014 at 7:00 PM, Deputy L. Johnson responded to a residence on Mary Lynn Drive in Lexington Park. The victim alleged suspect Lavonte Devow King, 22, of, Park Hall, entered the residence through an unsecured window. Once inside, King entered the victim’s bedroom and produced a butcher style knife. The victim attempted to take the knife and received several cuts. King then stabbed the victim in the forearm. The victim attempted to get away and was further assaulted by King. King held the victim down and refused to allow the victim to leave for over an hour. Eventually, the victim was able to call police. King was located and placed under arrest. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Assault, 1st and 2nd Degree Burglary, and False Imprisonment. The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening.

PRESCRIPTION FRAUD – On June 19, 2014, a pharmacist at the Tidewater Pharmacy located in Mechanicsville noticed a suspicious prescription submitted by suspect Tabitha Marie Wood, 23, of Mechanicsville. After contacting the issuing physician it was determined the prescription had been altered. Deputy McCuen placed Wood under arrest and transported her to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with Obtaining CDS by Altering Prescription.

1st Degree Assault – On June 23, 2014, Deputy Lawrence responded to a residence in the 21000 block of Great Mills Road for an assault. Two victims alleged suspect Krista Renee Hall, 30, of Lexington Park, threatened them with a kitchen knife after an argument. Hall held the knife toward the victims and threatened to cut them. Hall was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with 2 COUNTS of 1st Degree Assault and 2 COUNTS of 2nd Degree Assault.
