Robbery Suspect Apprehend Using Victim's Bank Card - Paolillo

Mechanicsville, Maryland - On March 18, 2015, at 11:05 PM, Corporal E. Johnson responded to a residence in the 40000 block of Beach Drive, after a victim called 9 1 1 reporting a robbery. Deputy Johnson arrived at the residence and found the victim with her hands handcuffed behind her back. The victim alleged suspect David Alexander Paolillo, age 38, of Mechanicsville, handcuffed the victim’s hands behind her back and tied her feet together. Paolillo, who is known to the victim, stole the victim’s bank card, cell phone, and vehicle keys from her pockets. He then fled the area in the victim’s vehicle. Paolillo was quickly located at a bank in Charlotte Hall where he used the victim’s bank card to withdraw money and was placed under arrest. The investigation also revealed Paolillo entered the residence in violation of an active protective order. Paolillo was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Robbery, 2nd Degree Assault, Unlawful Taking Motor Vehicle, Theft Under $1,000, Violation Protective Order, and False Imprisonment. He remains incarcerated on NO BOND. CASE #15427-15
