Incident Briefs 7-8-14

 
 
7-7-14 BURGLARY - A victim, who resides in the Patuxent Homes neighborhood in Lexington Park, reported unknown suspect(s) entered his residence and stole several items of property. Case remains open. Case #36768-14

7-7-14 THEFT - Unknown suspect(s) removed a boat from a lot at Cedar Cove Marina in Valley Lee. The boat was found a short distance away stripped of motor/parts. Case remains open. Case #36743-14

7-8-14 Motor Vehicle Accident/Fly out - On July 7, 2014 at 7:51 PM, Deputy Lawrence responded to the area of Church Drive in Great Mills, for a motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist. The bicyclist, a 8 year old male sustained minor injuries and was flown to Children's Hospital for precautionary measures. Preliminary investigation indicates the bicyclist entered the path of the Toyota Camry; however the driver of the vehicle was arrested for driving without a license. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged accordingly. 7-8-14 Attempted Strong Armed Robbery/Assault - A victim, age 58, reported she was walking in the area of South Shangri La Drive and Missouri Avenue in Lexington Park, when two unidentified black male suspects attempted to steal her purse. When the victim resisted the suspects assaulted her causing her to fall to the ground. The suspects tried again to take her purse but were not successful. Both suspects then fled on foot. Case remains open and is forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division. Case #36830-14
