Identity Needed for Theft Suspect

The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office is seeking the identity of the person pictured. On Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018 at 2 p.m. while at the California Walmart store, the suspect concealed merchandise in a black backpack in an attempt to steal items. The suspect fled after confronted by store security. Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect or this incident is asked to call Dep.
