Identities Needed for Theft Suspects

The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office is seeking the identity of two individuals in two separate thefts.

On Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 8:30 p.m., at the Sheetz convenience store in California, the victim left a phone on the counter. The clerk working at the time gave the phone to the suspect, believing it belonged to him. The suspect then left the store in a silver Volvo which was last seen at the corner of North Essex Drive and Saratoga Drive in Lexington Park. On Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018 at 5:15 p.m., an unknown suspect pushed a cart containing a plastic tub full of food and clothing items out the door of the California Walmart store. The suspect fled after being stopped by loss prevention staff. Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect or this incident is asked to call Dep.
