Pires, Nicole Elizabeth

03/08/17 – Assault 2nd Degree – Deputy S. Shelko responded to the 41000 block of Jesse Drive in Mechanicsville, MD for a reported disturbance.  Upon arrival, Deputy S. Shelko met with the victim who advised he and the suspect, Nicole Elizabeth Pires, 44 of Mechanicsville, were involved in an argument that turned physical.  During the argument, the suspect who was found to be intoxicated allegedly scratched the victim’s neck with her fingernails.  Pires was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was charged with Assault 2nd Degree.  Case #13133-17 




Goodwin, William Joseph



03/09/17 – Trespassing – Deputy T. Snyder responded to the Lexington Park Methodist Church in reference to the suspect William Joseph Goodwin, 50 of Lexington Park, on the property after being issued a “No Trespass Notice” by Deputy Snyder on March 8, 2017.  Goodwin was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with Trespassing on Private Property. 03/09/17 – Affray/Disorderly Conduct/Possession of CDS: Not Marijuana – Deputy First Class V. Pontorno and Corporal J. Graves were in the area of 21000 Great Mills Road in  Lexington Park when they heard yelling coming from the parking lot in front of the Quick Stop.  Deputies observed the two suspects, James Brian Thompson, age 21, of Lexington Park and suspect John Eugene Otto, age 21, of Lexington Park, on the ground fighting.  The fight and yelling caused patrons from inside of the Quick Stop to exit the business to watch the altercation.  Corporal Graves pulled suspect John Otto off of suspect James Thompson, who in turn attempted to flee the scene.  After a brief foot pursuit, Deputy First Class Pontorno apprehended Thompson.  A search incident to arrest of Thompson revealed suspected marijuana residue, a grinder and suspected Alprazolam pills in suspect Thompson’s possession. The suspects, Otto and Thompson, were arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.  Thompson was charged with Affray/Disorderly Conduct/Possession of CDS: Not Marijuana.  Otto was charged with Affray and Disorderly Conduct. Underwood, Nicole Corine


03/10/17 – Violation of Protective Order – Corporal J. Stone responded to the 20000 block of Shadrick Street in Leonardtown, MD, for a reported disturbance.  Cpl. Stone's investigation revealed the suspect, Nicole Corine Underwood,  age 26 of Leonardtown, entered the victim’s home in violation of a final protective order issued by District Court Judge, Karen Chesser on January 24, 2017.  Underwood was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was charged with Violation of Protective Order.  CCN #13141-17




Hill, Francis Xavier
03/10/17 – Violation of Protective Order – Deputy G. Muschette observed the suspect Francis Xavier Hill, age 21, of no fixed address, in the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park. Deputy Muschette confirmed Hill had three open arrest warrants for Violation of Protective order and Burglary 4th Degree.  Deputy Muschette made contact with the suspect at an apartment on Great Mills Road and placed him under arrest for the warrants.  It was subsequently learned that the suspect was actively in violation of a protective order, which protected an occupant within the residence from contact with the suspect.  Hill was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, where he was charged with Violation of Protective Order and served three outstanding warrants. Raley, Justin David
03/10/17 – Burglary 4th Degree – Deputy J. Bare responded to a vacant residence in the 19000 block of Tippett Road in Lexington Park in an attempt to locate wanted suspect, Justin David Raley, 29 of Lexington Park.  Suspect Raley was wanted on six open warrants for Burglary 1st and 2nd Degree, Rogue and Vagabond, and Theft: Less $1000.  Upon arrival, deputies searched the vacant residence locating suspect Raley inside the home.  Deputies contacted the homeowners of the residence, who advised they had not given the suspect permission to be in the residence.  Raley was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with Burglary 4th Degree and served all outstanding warrants.  CCN # 13568-17/4323-17/62240-16/63695-16/9713-17/7894-17/7871-17


Sullivan, Kenneth Wayne
03/11/17 – Assault 2nd Degree – Deputy First Class D. Potter responded to a residence in the 46000 block of Sell Drive in Lexington Park for a reported disturbance.  Upon arrival, one of the witnesses claimed to have been locked out of the residence by the victim and needed police assistance.  Suspect Kenneth Wayne Sullivan, 55 of Lexington Park, MD, intervened by taking ahold of the victim by the arms and moved the victim away from the door so the witness could enter.  Deputy First Class Potter determined there was no crime and left the residence.  The Sheriff’s Office received another call for a reported active disturbance within the residence.  Upon arrival, it was reported that the verbal altercation continued and escalated when suspect Sullivan threw a piece of hot pizza at the victim, striking the victim in the face. Due to the visible signs of injury to the victim, and obvious continuing course of conduct in the household, Sullivan was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, where he was charged with Assault 2nd Degree. Brown, Alehandro Jerry
03/13/17 – CDS Possession: Not Marijuana – Corporal. J. Stone responded to the area of Chancellors Run Apartments in Great Mills for a reported Domestic Assault.  Upon arriving, Cpl. Stone observed a vehicle leaving the scene at which time he attempted to stop the vehicle to ensure the occupants were not related to the domestic assault report. However, the vehicle refused to stop attempting to elude Cpl. Stone.  The vehicle subsequently stopped and Corporal Stone detained all occupants, making contact with the driver, suspect Alehandro Jerry Brown, 44 of Great Mills, MD.  Corporal Stone observed the suspect to have suspected white powder cocaine residue on the front of his black jacket and on the crotch of his jeans.  Sitting in the suspect's lap in plain view was a torn plastic baggie with suspected powder cocaine residue, as well.  Additionally, the investigation revealed the suspect did not possess a valid Maryland license and his license and privilege through the state of Georgia were suspended.  Brown was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, where he was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance of Schedule II, to wit cocaine. 03/13/17 – Theft Less Than $1,000 – Deputy First Class A. Schultz responded to Walmart in California, MD for the report of a shoplifter in custody.  The investigation revealed that suspect Angela Lois Dias, 51 of California, MD was observed by Walmart loss prevention at a self-checkout register scanning only some of the items she had for purchase.  The suspect then walked past all points of sale and began to exit the store when she was confronted by loss prevention.  The suspect further emptied her purse of additional stolen items.   Dias was served a “Notice Not to Trespass” for Walmart and charged via Criminal Citation for Theft less than $1,000.  CCN # 14115-17
