On View Arrests:
Drug Arrest- On November 21, 2021, Dep. Kril was conducting an investigation in the 45400 block of Miramar Way in California. During the investigation contact was made with Chelsea Lee Hoofnagle, age 35 of Lusby. Located in Hoofnagle's purse was a metal container containing two pills, (suspected Gabapentin and Adderall). While at the detention center a white powder substance was located hidden in a sanitary item in Hoofnagle's property. Hoofnagle was charged with CDS: Possession-not Marijuana and Possession of Contraband at Place of Confinement.
Assault- On December 1, 2021, Dep. Tasciotti responded to the 46000 block of Maria Way in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Leslie Danielle Tester, age 36 of Lexington Park, punched the victim in face several times, causing visible injury. Tester was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. Theft- On December 1, 2021, Dep. Jerew responded to the 45100 block of First Colony Boulevard in California, for the reported theft in progress. Investigation determined Guy Vivian Butler, age 56 of California, walked out of the business with a shopping cart full of items he did not purchase to include a vacuum cleaner and various other items totaling $1,191.53. Butler was arrested and charged with Theft Scheme, and Theft.
Assault- On December 1, 2021, Dep. Tasciotti responded to the 46400 block of Munley Lane in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Kendra Nicole Brooks, age 35 of Lexington Park, grabbed the victim by the neck, causing the victim to have trouble breathing and visible injury was observed to the victim. Brooks was charged with Assault 1st and 2nd Degree.
Threats of Arson- On December 3, 2021, Dep. Wilson responded to the 23900 block of Colton Point Road in Clements, for the reported individual threatening others. Contact was made with an employee at the business who advised Robert Johnson Bowles, age 31 of Chaptico, was causing a disturbance in the business and refused to leave, and also threatened to the burn down the business. Bowles was ordered to leave the establishment by Dep. Wilson, however he refused to do so. Bowles began cursing and causing a loud disturbance. Bowles was arrested and charged with Trespassing: Private Property, Threats of Arson, Failure to Obey a Lawful Order and Disorderly Conduct.
Escape- On November 29, 2021, Sandra Lee King, age 44 of Pasadena, failed to return to a treatment program. On December 3, 2021, King was located during a traffic stop, and charged with Escape 2nd Degree.
Violate Protective Order- On December 4, 2021, Dep. Reynolds responded to the reported protective order violation in the 45000 block of Lady Lane in Callaway. Investigation determined Justin Dominic Morgan, age 21 of Hollywood, violated a valid court order by being at the victim's residence. Morgan was arrested and charged with Violate Protective Order.
Disorderly Conduct- On December 4, 2021, Dep. Lawrence responded to the 276000 block of Mechanicsville Road in Mechanicsville, for the reported assault. Contact was made with Casey Evan Sheckels, age 35 of Mechanicsville. Sheckels was disorderly, and began yelling and causing a disturbance. Sheckels was told numerous times to cease his behavior however he continued to be disorderly and threw his wallet to the ground, ordering deputies on scene to pick it up. Sheckels was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Fail to Obey a Reasonable/Lawful Order.
Violate Protective Order- On December 6, 2021, Dep. Lawrence conducted a traffic stop in the 28700 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville. Contact was made with the vehicle operator Billy Frank Stone Sr., age 60 of Welcome. There was a passenger in the vehicle who was determined to be a protected party in a valid court order preventing Stone from contacting the victim by any means. Stone was arrested and charged with Violate Protective Order.
Assault- On December 6, 2021, Dep. Jerew responded to the 45800 block of South Springsteen Court in California, for the reported assault involving a motor vehicle. Investigation determined Calvin Sylvester Kinney Jr., age 31 of Lexington Park, arrived at the victim's residence and a physical confrontation ensued with another individual. Kinney entered his vehicle, and backed up at a high rate of speed, striking the victim in the leg. Kinney then put the vehicle in drive and ran over the victim's leg a second time. Kinney was located and charged with Assault 1st and 2nd Degree.
