On View Arrests:
Handgun in Vehicle- On November 23, 2021, Sgt. Snyder conducted a traffic stop in 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park. The vehicle did not initially stop, but continued on Great Mills Road. The operator did come to a stop and immediately exited the vehicle. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Travis Lowell Briscoe, age 30 of Mechanicsville. Located in the vehicle were four magazines and ammunition. Located in the road where Briscoe was driving prior to stopping the vehicle was a handgun. Briscoe was charged with Handgun on Person and Handgun in Vehicle.
Assault/Child Abuse- On November 23, 2021, Dep. Wilhelmi responded to the 44800 block of Hunting Meadows Court in Callaway, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Justin Ray King, age 39 of Callaway, assaulted the victim by tackling the victim, while the victim was holding a child. While on the ground the victim advised King pulled the victim's hair and bit the victim (not the juvenile victim). Visible injury was observed and King was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Child Abuse.
Assault- On November 23, 2021, Dep. Forbes responded to the 22800 block of Three Notch Road in California, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Terrell Devantee Atkins, age 23 of no fixed address, punched the victim in the face, causing visible injury. Atkins was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree.
Violation of Protective Order- On November 24, 2021, DFC. Ball responded to the 46800 block of Roger's Drive for an unrelated investigation. While on scene it was discovered Joseph Cephas Harrod Jr., age 60 of Lexington Park, was in the residence, in violation of a valid court order. Harrod was arrested and charged with Violate Protective Order.
Assault- On November 25, 2021, Dep. Dixon responded to the 21800 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Natalie NMN Velasquez, age 28 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by slapping the victim in the face, causing visible injury. Velasquez was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree.
Assault- On November 25, 2021, Dep. Rycyzyn responded to the 45700 block of Church Drive in California, for the reported fight in progress. While conducting the investigation Star La Richola Dillinger, age 33 of California, struck Dep. Rycyzyn in the arm. Dillinger was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. Disorderly Conduct- On November 25, 2021, DFC. Fenwick responded to the 45700 block of Church Drive in California, for the reported fight in progress. While on scene, Janay Tory Robinson, age 27 of Lexington Park, was yelling and continued to cause a scene and disrupt the investigation. Robinson was given multiple commands to cease her actions and she refused. Robinson was placed under arrest at which time she pulled away from deputies and did not comply. Robinson was taken into custody and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Resist/Interfere with Arrest and Obstructing and Hindering an Investigation.
Burglary/Theft/Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle- On November 26, 2021, DFC. M. Beyer responded to the 23200 block of Woodland Acres in California, for the reported burglary. Located in the residence was Ashley Nicole Thomas, age 34 of no fixed address. Located in Thomas' belongings were the victim's car keys and credit card. It was also determined Thomas had been using the victim's vehicle for several days without permission and located in the vehicle was a suspected CDS smoking device containing suspected cocaine. Thomas was arrested and charged with Burglary 1st, 3rd and 4th Degree, Theft, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of CDS: Not Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Violate Protective Order- On November 27, 2021, Dep. Welch responded to the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, for the reported protective order violation. Investigation determined Christopher Shannon Bridgett, age 23 of Mechanicsville, contacted the victim through email, in violation of a valid court order. Bridgett was charged with Violate Protective Order.
Burglary/Motor Vehicle Theft/Property Destruction- On November 28, 2021, the victim reported to law enforcement a shed on his property had been burglarized and a motorcycle stolen. Several hours later, a traffic stop was conducted on a truck for a traffic infraction, by a Trooper Johnson from the Maryland State Police and the stolen motorcycle was discovered in the bed of the truck. The truck was operated by Jonathan Michael Weston, age 18 of Mechanicsville. Weston was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd and 4th Degree, Theft, Motor Vehicle Unlawful Taking, and Malicious Destruction of Property.
Disorderly Conduct- On November 28, 2021, Dep. Jerew responded to the 46800 block of Hilton Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Upon arrival contact was made with Simone Akeria Gay, age 25 of Lexington Park. Gay was yelling at another individual inside a vehicle. Gay was told to stop yelling at the individual in the vehicle and step away. Gay refused to comply and continued to cause a disturbance, attracting attention from several neighbors. Gay was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing and Hindering an Investigation.
