Identity Needed for Theft Scheme Suspect

 

The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office is seeking the identity of the person pictured in a theft scheme investigation. On Sunday, May 9, 2021, the suspect removed a Dewalt sawzall from a box and placed it in her shoulder bag and left the Ace Hardware store in Leonardtown without paying for it. The suspect returned on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 and placed 20-volt Dewalt batteries in her bag and left the store without paying for them. On Thursday, May 13, 2021, the suspect returned and attempted to take several items, but noticed she was being watched and left the store, getting into a blue Mazda with Maryland tags being driven by another person.
