Identity Needed for Theft Suspect

 

April 13, 2021 update: The suspect has been identified. 

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the person shown in a theft investigation. On Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 3:15 pm, the suspect placed two Vankyo movie projectors into his backpack and left the California Walmart store without paying for them. On Saturday, April 4, 2021 at 1:57 pm, the suspect placed merchandise under his shirt at the Walmart store and passed the last points of sale. Loss prevention staff stopped the suspect and recovered the items, but the suspect fled the store.
