On View Arrests:
Drug Arrest- On February 25, 2021, Cpl. Ray responded to the 45400 block of Miramar Way in California, regarding a wanted individual. Contact was made with Amber Nicole Clark, age 32 of Hughesville, who was with the wanted individual. Clark was observed discarding a folded dollar bill, which was discovered to contain suspected cocaine. Search incident to arrest found Clark was also in possession of suspected buprenorphine. Clark was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana. CASE# 10112-21
Drug Arrest- On February 28, 2021, Dep. Salas responded to the 21800 block of North Shangri-La Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported disturbance involving a knife. Contact was made with Amber Rosetta Joy, age 28 of no fixed address. A pocket knife was recovered from Joy, and also found on Joy was a syringe and suspected K2. Joy was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana. CASE# 10682-21
Drug Arrest- On February 28, 2021, Dep. Wimberly conducted a traffic stop in the 21100 block of Lexwood Court in Lexington Park. Contact was made with the operator John Kendall Edison Jr., age 29 of Lexington Park. The odor of marijuana was detected and a vehicle search was conducted. Located in the vehicle was approximately 33 grams of suspected marijuana. Edison refused to comply with any orders given on scene and resisted arrest by refusing to place his hands behind his back. Edison was charged with CDS: Possession-Marijuana plus 10 grams, Obstructing and Hindering, Fail to Obey Reasonable/Lawful Order, and Resist/Interfere with Arrest. CASE# 10720-21
Assault- On March 3, 2021, Cpl. Beishline responded to the 21900 block of Rosewood Terrace in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Carl Joseph Resnick, age 49 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by punching the victim in the face, causing visible injury. Resnick was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 11179-21
Theft/Theft Scheme- On March 3, 2021, Dep. Raley responded to the 45000 block of Worth Avenue in California, for the reported theft. Investigation determined over the course of several months, Tare Lashawn Coates, age 28 of Lexington Park, who was an employee of the business, was not scanning customer items, allowing customers to leave the business with numerous unpaid items. Coates was arrested and charged with five counts of Theft and Theft Scheme. CASE# 11201-21
Theft- On March 4, 2021, Dep. Salas responded to the 21800 block of North Shangri-La Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported theft. Investigation determined William Shawn Carter, age 46 of Leonardtown, concealed items from the business on his person, and then fled the business on foot. Carter was located a short distance away, with property belonging to the business he had not purchased. Carter was arrested and charged with two counts of Theft. CASE# 11500-21
Drug Arrest- On March 4, 2021, Dep. Rycyzyn responded to the 21200 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, for the reported disabled vehicle. Upon arrival contact was made with Joseph Cornell Young, age 46 of Lexington Park. Young attempted to flee on foot from Dep. Rycyzyn, but he tripped and was taken into custody. Located on Young was a bag containing a white powdery substance, suspected cocaine. Young was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana. CASE# 11355-21
Assault- On March 6, 2021, Dep. Wilhelmi responded to the 2500 block of Chestnut Way in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Jeremiah Lavon Tramill, age 26 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by punching the victim in the face and head. Visible injury was observed and Tramill was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 11950-21
Assault- On March 6, 2021, Dep. Jerew responded to the 25000 block of Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Brooke Lynn Bailey, age 18 of California, assaulted the victim by repeatedly striking the victim in the head with her hands and a speaker. The victim required medical attention for injuries sustained and Bailey was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 11973-21
Assault- On March 8, 2021, DFC. Shelko responded to the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Paul Daniel Panholzer, age 37 of no fixed address, assaulted the victim by striking the victim in the head with a tray. Panholzer was charged with Assault 2nd Degree. Assault- On March 8, 2021, DFC. Shelko responded to the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Tywon Deontae Straughn, age 19 of Leonardtown, assaulted the victim by striking the victim in the head. Straughn was charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 12500-21
Violation of Protective Order- On March 10, 2021, Cpl. Delozier responded to the 23700 block of North Patuxent Beach Road in California, for the reported disturbance. Investigation determined Michael Eugene Abell, age 59 of California, violated a valid court order by returning to the victim's residence after being served the order. Abell was arrested and charged with Violation of Protective Order. CASE# 12831-21
Assault/Resisting Arrest- On March 10, 2021, Dep. N. Hill responded to the 22700 block of Laurel Glen Road in California, for the reported disturbance. Investigation determined Alexander Wade Foote, age 23 of California, assaulted the victim by punching the victim in the face and strangling the victim, causing visible injury. Foote was arrested and began to resist deputies, and kicked a deputy on scene. It was also determined Foote had destroyed a door handle to the residence. Foote was charged with two counts of Assault 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, and Malicious Destruction of Property. CASE# 12766-21
