Identity Needed for Theft Suspect

 

March 5, 2021 update: The suspect has been identified. 

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the person shown in a theft investigation. On Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 11:03 am, the suspect arrived at the Lexington Park Family Dollar store on Great Mills Road on a red scooter with another unidentified person. The suspect then entered the store and filled up a plastic bag with merchandise. The suspect then told the store manager that he would come back and steal again before he left the business without paying for the bag of merchandise.
