Identity Needed for Theft Suspect

 

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the person pictured in a theft investigation. On Monday, Oct. 12, 2020 at 6 pm, the suspect entered the Old Navy store in California and filled up a bookbag with clothing and then left the store without paying. The next day on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020 at 10:10 am, the suspect returned, loaded up more clothing and left the store without paying. The suspect is described as a tall, heavy set black man.

Through the Crime Solvers Program tipsters are eligible for an award of up to $1,000 for information about a crime in St. Mary’s County that leads to an arrest or indictment.
