Theft Suspect Identified

Dec. 24, 2019 update: The suspect has been identified.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the person pictured in a theft case. On Monday, Dec. 16, 2019 at 6:12 pm, the suspect entered the Charlotte Hall Dollar General store and loaded a handbasket with items and then fled the store without paying for them. The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’7” tall, with a full beard and handlebar mustache.
