Theft- On March 7, 2019, Cpl. Corcoran responded to the 45100 block of First Colony Way, in California, for the reported theft. Investigation determined Richard Alvin Nolan III, age 31 with no fixed address, removed a security device from a vacuum cleaner and attempted to leave the Target store without purchasing the item. When confronted by store employees Nolan fled on foot. Cpl. Corcoran located Nolan in the area; investigation determined Nolan had also previously stolen another vacuum cleaner from the store. It was also discovered Nolan had previously been served a notice not to trespass for the store in October of 2018. Nolan was arrested and charged with Theft, Trespassing, and Theft Scheme. Trespassing/Resisting Arrest- On March 7, 2019, DFC. McCuen responded to the 21800 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, for the reported trespassing. Investigation determined Eric Eugene Booth, age 32 with no fixed address, refused to leave the lobby of the business after being told so numerous times by the business owner. DFC. McCuen issued Booth a notice not to trespass, which Booth refused to accept. Booth also refused to leave the premises after being instructed to do so by DFC. McCuen. DFC. McCuen attempted to take Booth into custody however Booth resisted. Booth was ultimately taken into custody and charged with Trespass: Private Property and Resist/Interfere with Arrest. Escape- On March 8, 2019, Dep. Forinash responded to the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown for the reported motor vehicle accident. Investigation determined Michael Anthony Oliver, age 31 of Chesapeake Beach, struck a parked vehicle in the parking lot, when he reported to serve his weekend incarceration. It was also discovered Oliver had failed to report to the detention center at his court ordered time, and failed to check in with detention center staff. Assault/Reckless Endangerment- On March 9, 2019, Dep. Sidorowicz responded to the 39000 block of Cedarwood Court in Mechanicsville, for a reported assault. Investigation determined during an argument with the victim, Gregory Alan Blend, age 40 of Mechanicsville, threatened the victim with a meat cleaver he had in his possession, as well as a firearm that was on his person. Blend then went outside the residence after threatening the victim, and fired the weapon. Blend was arrested for Assault 2nd Degree and Reckless Endangerment. CASE# 14317-19

Drug Arrest/Assault- On March 10, 2019, Cpl. Flerlage responded to the 44000 block of Medley's Neck Road in Leonardtown, for the reported assault. During the investigation contact was made with Shelby Lynn Carroll, age 25 of Leonardtown. While speaking with Carroll, Cpl. Flerlage noticed numerous uncapped hypodermic needles, as well as a spoon containing a white powdery substance and capsules containing a white powdery substance. Investigation determined Carroll had chased the victim throughout the residence with a flashlight, and glass in attempt to assault the victim during an argument. At one point during the argument Carroll had attempted to obtain a knife from the kitchen to go after the victim. Carroll was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree, CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession-Paraphernalia. CASE# 14546-19

Contact was made with the operator Thanh Nhat Nguyen, age 31 of Great Mills. It was determined Nguyen was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. 03/09/19- Bernadette Cecelia Toye, age 69 of Suitland, was charged via Criminal Citation for Theft by Cpl. Pesante after it was determined on March 5th as well as March 8th, that Toye had removed various items from the Dollar General store located in Mechanicsville, without purchasing the items.
