The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying vandalism victims around MD Route 5 and Dyson’s Lumber in Great Mills. In recent weeks, the Sheriff’s Office has identified a suspected pattern of crime related to property destructions involving motor vehicles. Victims reported hearing a loud bang, similar to a gunshot before their window was damaged by what appears to be a pellet from a BB gun.
If you believe you have been a victim, contact Corporal Elizabeth O’Connor at Elizabeth.OConnor@stmarysmd.com, or 301-475-4200, ext. 8075.
