Arrests 3/15/2016

3-9-2016 – Operating Without a Permit – The suspect, Ryan Michael Watts, age 22, of Piedmont, South Carolina, attempted to sell a vacuum to a victim without having the proper permit. Watts was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Did Buisness as Exhibitor in Maryland Without Permit. CASE# 12963-16

3-12-16 – Assault – Deputy D. McClure responded to the area of Great Mills Drive and Suburban Drive in Lexington Park, for the report of a disturbance. The victim alleged during a fight the suspect, Kristina Ann Himes, age 31, of Hollywood, bit the victim on the right side of the neck. Himes also kicked the victim several times ‘between the legs,’ according to the victim. The victim displayed injuries consistent with the allegations. Himes was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with Second Degree Assault. CASE# 13556-16

3-12-2016 – False Statement to Police Officer – Deputy B. Gaskill responded to the 46000 block of Lexington Village Way (Kohls) in Lexington Park, for the report of theft. The suspect, Lorenza Consuelo Domingues Vasquez, attempted to conceal merchandise and exit the store. During the initial contact, Vasquez provided a false name to the responding officer and claimed she did not have any identification. A search of her purse revealed an identification card and items consistent with the merchandise removed from the store. Vasquez was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with Theft Less Than $1000 and False Statement to Police Officer. CASE# 13482-16

3-12-2016 – Assault – Deputy J. Lacey responded to the 48000 block of Far Cry Road in Lexington Park, for the report of an assault. The victim alleged the suspect, Wanita Deavon Knott, age 36, of Lexington Park, cut the victim on the back with a knife. Knott was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with Second Degree Assault. CASE# 13441-16

3-13-2016 – Deputy J. Lacey responded to the Food Lion in California for the report of theft.  The suspect, Leondra Bonita Scott, age 50, of California, concealed multiple items in her purse and exited the store without paying for the merchandise. Scott was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with Theft Less Than $100. CASE# 13622-16
