Calvert County, Maryland - On January 6, 2014 at approximately 1:20 PM, Deputy J. Bare of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office, Patrol Division, was involved in a traffic collision on Route 4 near Bowie Shop Road. Deputy Bare was transported by ambulance to Calvert Hospital with minor injuries. 5 total vehicles were involved and Deputy Bare was not at fault in the crash.
The Calvert County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and is handling the investigation.
