Arrests 12-4-14

VIOLATION PROTECTIVE ORDER – On November 29, 2014, DFC Knott responded to a residence on Tippett Road for a reported violation of a protective order. The victim alleged suspect Albert Ernest Herbert JR., 33, of Morganza, came onto the victim’s property and had contact with Herbert’s son in violation of a final protective order. Herbert was located and placed under arrest. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Violation Protective Order. Case #63625-14

ASSAULT – On November 30, 2014, Corporal D. Snyder responded to a residence on Andover Estate’s Road in Valley Lee for a disturbance. The victim alleged suspect Keith Leonard Mackall, 51, of Valley Lee, struck the victim in the face with his fist while traveling in a vehicle. Corporal Snyder observed the victim had a visible injury. Mackall was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with 2nd Degree Assault. TRESPASSING – On November 30, 2014, Lisa Marie Lambert, 51, of Lusby, and Amy Marie Lambert, 38, of Lusby, were charged with trespassing at the California Walmart after both were observed on the property of the store in violation of no trespass orders. Both were charged by criminal citation. Case #63803-14

THEFT – On November 30, 2014, Deputy McClure responded to the Dew Drop Inn in Hollywood, for a reported theft. The caller reported a male and female suspect were inside the bar and attempted to steal a handbag and other items from bar patrons (victims). The victims confronted the suspects who returned the handbag, but were believed to still be in possession of other stolen items. On police arrival, the suspects had left the bar operating a dark colored Jeep. Responding deputies located the Jeep and identified the suspects as Robert Wayne Wright, 36, of Scotland and Mercedes Keyaira Carter, 22, of Lexington Park. Carter, who was operating the vehicle, was subsequently placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. In plain view, inside the vehicle were the remaining items reported stolen by victims inside the ;the bar. Wright was also placed under arrest. Both were transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with 2 COUNTS of Theft Under $1,000.00. Case #63735-14
