The 12th annual “Shop with a Cop” program

The St. Mary's County “Shop with a Cop” program will hold its twelfth annual Christmas “Shop with a Cop” program on Saturday, December 19. Children nominated by police officers and St. Mary's County Public Schools (SMCPS) will be picked up at their homes by local, state, and federal law enforcement officers, as well as members of the Unites States Coast Guard. Children will then shop with the police officers and have breakfast made by members of the Optimist Clubs of St. Mary's County. 


The “Shop with a Cop” program is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization consisting of members of the St. Mary's County Optimist Clubs and the St. Mary's County Fraternal Order of Police.

The “Shop with a Cop” program is an all-volunteer program with no paid employees. Donations are welcome and are tax-deductible. Donations can be sent to:
