Identity Needed for Assault Suspect

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the person pictured in an assault investigation. On Monday, Oct. 4, 2021 at 12:12 pm, the suspect was waiting for the victim to finish using the self-serve Maryland Lottery kiosk at the Wawa convenience store in Charlotte Hall. The suspect grew increasingly impatient and then brushed the victim aside, grabbing the lottery tickets and throwing them into the air. The suspect then exited out of the door and was last seen driving away in a yellow Chevy Camaro with a black convertible top.
