The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of Joseph Axzavis Stewart Jr., age 41 of Lexington Park. Stewart is wanted for the charge of escape for failing to return to a court ordered program. Stewart is 5’10”, weighs 140 pounds and has brown eyes. Stewart’s original charge was driving under the influence of alcohol.
