On View Arrests:
Violate Protective Order- On September 9, 2020, Dep. Luffey responded to the 20500 block of Treetop Road in Lexington Park, for the reported protective order violation. Investigation determined David Michael Jenkins, age 23 of Lexington Park, contacted the victim in violation of an active court order prohibiting Jenkins from contacting the victim by and means. Jenkins was arrested and charged with Violate Protective Order by Dep. Luffey# 352. CASE# 56019-20
Assault- On September 13, 2020, Dep. Wynnyk responded to the 30000 block of Tomahawk Court in Mechanicsville, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Laryssa Jean Wall, age 24 of Mechanicsville, struck the victim in the head and face multiple times, and also bit the victim on the ear. The victim displayed visible signs of injury and Wall was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 56800-20 (No Photograph Available)
Assault- On September 13, 2020, Cpl. Beishline responded to the 21100 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, for the reported assault. Investigation determined William Thomas Douglas, age 39 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim by punching the victim in the head, causing visible injury. Douglas was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 56970-20
Assault- On September 18, 2020, Dep. Edelen responded to the 28600 block of Hancock Road in Mechanicsville, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Justin Steven Cherrico, age 34 of Mechanicsville, assaulted the victim by throwing the victim to the ground. Cherrico assaulted a second victim by punching the victim several times in the face. Cherrico was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault 2nd Degree. Cherrico was also served an outstanding warrant for trespassing. CASE# 57893-20
Burglary- On September 19, 2020, Cpl. Hartzell responded to the 22700 block of Lawrence Avenue in Leonardtown, for the reported protective order violation. Investigation determined James Allen Michael Schaeffer, age 37 of Union Bridge, entered the victim's residence, and made contact with the victim in violation of an active court order prohibiting Schaeffer from contacting the victim. Schaeffer was arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd and 4th Degree and Violation of Protective Order. CASE# 58111-20
Assault/Obstructing and Hindering- On September 20, 2020, Dep. Webb responded to the 39100 block of Persimmon Creek Road in Mechanicsville, for the reported disturbance. Investigation determined Gregory Allan Hall, age 26 of Mechanicsville, assaulted the victim by grabbing the victim by the arm and pushing the victim. There is an active court order preventing Hall from assaulting or threatening the victim. While conducting the investigation, Hall continually interfered and hindered Dep. Webb. Hall was arrested for Assault 2nd Degree, Obstructing and Hindering, and Violate Protective Order. CASE# 58149-20
