Arrests and Warrants

Arrests:

Assault on officers: Cpl. Glen Knott responded to MedStar St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown for the report of a disturbance on June 28, 2018. Hospital staff advised that Michael Douglas Mackenzie, 23, of Mechanicsville was yelling and throwing things in his hospital room. Mackenzie later charged a security guard, pushing the victim in the stomach and chest areas. Mackenzie then kicked Deputy Carl Ball in the chest area and kicked Knott in the left leg. After a brief struggle, Mackenzie was pushed back onto his bed, arrested, transported to the St. Mary's County Detention and Rehabilitation Center and charged with two counts of Second-Degree Assault Law Enforcement and two counts of Second-Degree Assault. Trespassing: On June 14, 2018, DFC Vincent Pontorno arrested Jovan Denise Fenwick, 24, of Lexington Park for Trespassing at Canopy Liquors at 21636 Great Mills Road in Lexington Park after being duly notified not to do so by Cpl. Timothy Snyder. CASE# 31567-18 (no photo available) 

Theft: On June 21, 2018, Dep. Robert Chase arrested Rodta Edward Maddox, 20, of Lexington Park for Theft under $100 at the California Walmart store. CASE# 32906-18

Theft: On June 25, 2018, DFC Kevin Molitor arrested Donald Wayne Adkins Jr., 48, of Lexington Park for Theft: Less than $100 at the California Walmart store, stealing Sudafed and Mountain Dew. CASE# 33605-18

Trespassing: On June 26, 2018, Cpl. John Kirkner arrested Donald Earl Walker, 30, of Aquasco for Trespassing on Private Property at 37767 Market Drive in Charlotte Hall after being issued a notice not to trespass by Cpl. Jaime Davis. CASE# 33764-18

Second-Degree Assault: On June 27, 2018, Dep. Shawn Bowie responded to the 21000 block of Brighton Avenue in Lexington Park for the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Bowie saw Toni Clydia Carleen Richardson, 18, of Lexington Park physically assaulting the victim. Richardson left the area upon the deputy’s approach into a crowd, but was located down the street at her home, arrested, transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center and charged with Second-Degree Assault. Violation of Peace Order: On June 27, 2018, DFC Dale Smith responded to the Clements Convenience Center for the report of a violation of a protective order. The deputy made contact with the victim who had an active peace order against Melvin Jerome Price, 55, of Clements. Price yelled profanity to the victim while opening the convenience center. Price was located, arrested, transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center and charged with Violation of a Peace Order. CASE# 33931-18

Violation of Peace Order: On June 27, 2018, Cpl. Steven Kerby responded to the Clements Convenience Center for the report of a separate violation of a peace order. Upon arrival, Kerby saw the victim and Larry Joseph Murphy, 36, of Bushwood working on a vehicle together. Murphy was arrested, transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center and charged with Violation of a Peace Order. CASE# 33940-18

Contraband: On June 27, 2018, DFC Dale Smith responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center for the report of contraband. Smith was advised by corrections staff that Mark Anthony Morgan, 30, of Mechanicsville was trying to use a condom filled with unknown specimen urine during a urinalysis test. Morgan was arrested and charged with Possession of Contraband in a Place of Confinement. CASE# 33956-18

Theft: On June 27, 2018, Dep. Phillip Henry arrested Jesse Marie Jameson, 27, of Lexington Park for stealing shampoo, flip flops and socks at the Callaway Weis grocery store. Jameson was arrested and charged with Theft: Less than $100 and Failure to Appear: Trespassing. CASE# 33901-18
