SMCSO Conducting Death Investigation

On June 9, 2016, at 11:18 p.m., patrol deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Medical Personnel responded to an address on Kavanagh Road in Mechanicsville, Maryland. Upon arrival, deputies and medical personnel located victim Mark Deangelo Medley, age 51 of Mechanicsville, pinned underneath a vehicle he was servicing. The victim was declared deceased by Medical Personnel. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division, Crime Scene Technicians, and a Forensic Investigator responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
