Mechanicsville, Maryland - The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect pictured below.
Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at
7:21 PM, a victim unknowingly dropped a wallet while fueling up at the Wawa store located at 27605 Three Notch Road. The suspect was captured on video surveillance picking up the victim's wallet and leaving with it.
The suspect appears to be a large bald white male with a
goatee, wearing a blue jacket and possibly gray or tan pants.
The suspect was a passenger in the vehicle seen in the images. The vehicle appears to be a maroon or dark colored Ford Escape with a gray bumper.
St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information about a crime in St. Mary's County that leads to an arrest or indictment.
