November 28, 2014, Christmas on the Square and Tree Lighting will take place in the Town of Leonardtown from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Lighting of the Tree and Santa's Parade will begin at 7:00 PM. Activities include a live nativity scene, caroling, barrel rides, sleigh rides, train rides, hay rides, and carriage rides.
The Town Square will be CLOSED to thru traffic from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Washington Street will be CLOSED at Church Street to thru traffic. Fenwick Street will be CLOSED at Courthouse Drive to thru traffic. Lawrence Avenue will be OPEN. Event parking will be at Leonardtown Elementary School, College of Southern Maryland, Ryken High School, Father Andrew School, St. Aloysius Church and the old Bell used car lot.
