PROPERTY DESTRUCTION – On November
10, 2014, Deputy Beyer responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center for
a report of property destruction. Investigation revealed inmate Cornelius nmn
Fenwick, 37, of no fixed address, pulled the wires from the motor of the air
conditioning system located in segregation. Fenwick was charged with Property
Destruction Under $1,000.

THEFT – On November 18, 2014,
Corporal Rogers responded to Walmart in California for a reported theft.
Investigation revealed an employee identified as Adonnis Oneal Barber. 19, of
Great Mills, stole several IPhone 6 cellular telephones over a period of 2
weeks. Barber hid the phones in the store then later retrieved and left with
them. The phones were valued at over $9,000. Barber was placed under arrest and
transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with
Theft Over $1,000.

ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT –
On November 14, 2014, Deputy Logue and Corporal Rishel responded to Shangri-La
Drive in Lexington Park, to assist the Maryland State Police with a reported
domestic assault. After placing suspect Dat Phat Nguyen, 41, of Lexington Park,
under arrest and in handcuffs, he began to become combative. Therefore,
officers placed Nguyen in Deputy Logue’s caged patrol vehicle for transport to
the detention center. While placing Nguyen in the vehicle, he attempted to bite
Corporal Rishel on the arm. After he was secured in the vehicle, Nguyen kicked
the rear window out of the patrol vehicle with his bare feet. The shattered
glass struck Deputy Logue in the face causing several minor lacerations. Nguyen
was subsequently secured for transport to the St. Mary’s County Detention
Center where he was charged with 2 COUNTS of 2nd Degree Assault on
Law Enforcement and Property Destruction Under $1,000.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – On November
14, 2014, Deputy Lawrence responded to the Sheetz located in California, for a
disorderly subject. Store management alleged the subject ordered food and was
refusing to pay for it. Deputy Lawrence contacted suspect Terence Darnell
English, 31, of Lexington Park, who was yelling at people inside the store.
English subsequently paid for his food however he continued to yell profanity
toward people and employees inside the store. He was ordered several times to
stop and he refused. English was placed under arrest and transported to the St.
Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct and
Failure to Obey a Lawful Order.

FALSE REPORT – On November
15, 2014, Corporal O’Connor responded to Yorktown Road for a reported robbery. The
victim, identified as Daniel James Isom, 21, of Lexington Park, alleged he was
walking on Midway Drive when he was approached by a black male suspect who
asked for a cigarette. After Isom told the suspect no, the suspect produced a
handgun and demanded Isom’s property. After obtaining Isom’s money and other
property, the suspect walked away. During further investigation, Corporal O’Connor
determined the reported robbery was a false report. Isom had lost his brother’s
money earlier in the day and made up the story to hide that fact. Isom was
placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
He was charged with False Statement to Police Officer Causing Investigation and
False Statement to Officer.

THEFT – On November 16, 2014,
Corporal O’Connor responded to Walmart in California for a reported theft. Loss
Prevention employees reported a white female, later identified as Samantha Dawn
Domm, 42, of Lexington Park, loaded several items in the basket of a motorized
shopping cart and left the store without paying for the items. The value of the
stolen items was over $200.00. Domm was also in the store the evening prior to
return DVDs. She was asked to leave after becoming disorderly. Domm was placed
under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was
charged with Theft Under $1,000 and Theft Scheme Under $1,000.
