Lexington Park COPs UNIT Receives Donation

Lexington Park, Maryland – On June 11, 2014, Sheriff Tim Cameron and the members of the Lexington Park COPs UNIT received a generous donation in the amount of $2,500.00 from the Lexington Park Business Association. The donation will go directly to the purchase of 2 new patrol bicycles and related equipment for the Lexington Park COPs UNIT.

Currently, the COPs UNIT has 2 patrol bicycles with 4 trained/certified deputies in the unit. Patrol Bicycles have proven to be an invaluable asset to the COPs UNIT in its efforts to make Lexington Park a safer place to live and work.

Sheriff Tim Cameron and the men and women of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office would like to sincerely thank the Lexington Park Business Association, the association President Mark Pinekenstein, and it’s members for helping us make a difference in Lexington Park.
