04/25/17 - Assault 2nd Degree on DOC Employee - Corporal J. Davis responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center for the report of an alleged assault on personnel. The iInvestigation revealed the suspect Jackson Columbus Sage, 61 of Lexington Park, MD, struck the victim, a Correctional Officer with a food tray. The suspect was charged with Assault 2nd Degree of a DOC Employee and released back to the custody of the detention center. CCN# 22113-17

04/26/17 – Possession of Contraband in place of confinement - Deputy D. Sidorowicz responded to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center for a reported contraband violation. The investigation revealed the suspect Kanard Jaivon Bishop, 19 of Leonardtown, MD, returned from work release and attempted to conceal a cellular phone in the waistband of his pants after securing his other belongings in his assigned locker, in an attempt to enter the housing area with the cell phone. Cell phones are not allowed within the housing area of the facility and are considered prohibited contraband. The suspect was charged with Possession of Contraband in place of confinement and released back to the custody of the detention center. CCN# 22191-17

04/26/17 – Disturbing peace/Hinder passage. The Emergency Communications Center received multiple telephone calls for a subject blocking traffic by walking in the middle of Loveville Rd, in the area of Kavanaugh Rd. Deputy D. Sidorowicz arrived on scene and observed the suspect Dwayne Anthony Thompson, 54 of Loveville, MD, walking in the travel portion of the roadway. The suspect refused directions to stay out of the roadway, yelling profanities at the Deputies and threatening to physically engage them. Deputy Sidorowicz arrested the suspect and transported him to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with Disturbing the peace/Hinder passage. CCN# 22222-17
