Sheriff
Tim Cameron and the men and women of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office
would like to express their profound thanks to those who volunteered their time
and participated in National Night Out on Aug. 7, 2018.
St.
Mary’s County had 23 communities participate, whose message was clear: Awareness,
safety, and neighborhood unity is important. Most pivotal is the police/community
relationships and citizen involvement that builds the strong and safe
communities we have right here in St. Mary’s County.
“To all
of the individuals, businesses, community organizations, church groups, and
district fire departments, thank you for your show of support,” Sheriff Tim
Cameron said. “You were a pivotal part of making National Night Out a success. The
spirit of neighborhood and partnerships was very evident throughout the evening
and could be seen and heard in happy faces and laughter from adults and
children in attendance,” the sheriff said.
Again,
thank you for your continued support and involvement in all of our communities!
