On View Arrests/Warrants



Assault/DWI- On February 22, 2020, Dep. Palmer responded to the 21600 block of Hancock Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported vehicle collision. Upon arrival Brandon Louis Thompson, age 34 of Great Mills, was observed fleeing the scene on foot. Thompson was detained and identified as the operator of the vehicle involved in the collision. While conducting the investigation Thompson grabbed the arm of a deputy on scene. Thompson was determined to be operating the vehicle under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance and arrested. Thompson was charged with Driving While so Impaired by Drugs Incapable of Driving Safely, Driving While Impaired by Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 11027-20

Identities Needed for Burglary Suspects


UPDATE: The suspects have been identified. Thank you for your assistance. 

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identities of the persons pictured in a burglary investigation. On Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020 at 2:50 pm, the suspects unlawfully entered a home in the 42300 block of Riva Ridge Drive in Hollywood. Stolen from the residence were a 60-inch Samsung television, a Stihl trimmer, a Stihl leaf blower, a MetroCast receiver with cables and a Wyze surveillance camera.

Identities Sought in Lexington Park Robberies


The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is seeking the identities of individuals involved in two recent robberies in Lexington Park.

On Friday evening, Feb. 21, 2020, two males entered the Island Sushi business in Millison Plaza in Lexington Park, brandished a weapon and demanded money. The two men left with an undisclosed amount of currency.

On Sunday evening, Feb. 23, 2020, two males entered the 2000 Liquors business, also in Millison Plaza in Lexington Park, brandished a weapon and demanded money and left the establishment with an undisclosed amount of currency.

Assault- On February 21, 2020, Dep. Graves responded to the 26500 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville, for the reported assault.  Investigation determined Tiffany Lynn Hancock, age 37 of Hollywood, assaulted the victim during an argument by grabbing the victim's face and scratching the victim. Hancock also retrieved a pair of scissors, and came after the victim; a witness on scene was able to take the scissors away from Hancock. Hancock was charged with Assault 1st and 2nd Degree. Assault- On February 21, 2020, Dep. T. Snyder responded to the 22500 block of Armsworthy Court in California, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Keith Philip Tucker, age 47 of California, assaulted one victim by punching, and kicking the victim repeatedly and throwing the victim against a vehicle. A second victim was thrown onto the ground by Tucker. One victim sustained a laceration to the forehead from the assault. Motor Vehicle Collision in Valley Lee Under Investigation



On February 23, 2020, at approximately 2:31 a.m. deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 19400 block of Piney Point Road in the area of Blake Creek Road, in Valley Lee, for the reported motor vehicle collision. Deputies arrived on scene and located a single vehicle, with one occupant, in a field. The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene and continued the investigation.

Preliminary investigation determined a 1994 Ford Mustang operated by Joshua William Robe, age 24 of Leonardtown, was traveling south on Piney Point Road when for unknown reasons the vehicle left the roadway and struck a telephone pole. The vehicle overturned multiple times ultimately coming to rest in a field. Robe was transported via helicopter to an area trauma center and remains in serious condition. At this time speed and alcohol are considered contributing factors in the collision.

Information Sought in Charlotte Hall Vandalism


The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in a vandalism investigation. Between 7:40 pm and 8 pm on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, four separate victims reported that their vehicles were struck by yellow paint balls while driving on Golden Beach Road in Charlotte Hall. The victims reported being struck on Golden Beach Road between Triangle Drive and Laurel Ridge Drive.

Wilhelmi located the suspect, later identified as Michael Tyree Mitchell, age 37 of Lexington Park, in the area.  It was discovered during the investigation Mitchell had previously been issued a notice not to trespass for the business, and items belonging to the business were located on Mitchell. Violate Protective Order- On February 16, 2020, Dep. Home Invasion/Burglary- On February 16, 2020, DFC. The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of Kacey Grace Medeiros of Lexington Park, who is wanted on a warrant for Second-Degree Escape. Medeiros was incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown and allowed to attend outside rehabilitation services, which she left without authorization.

Medeiros is a 27-year-old white female, 5’5” tall, 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
