No Shave November/December

No Shave November

You may have noticed that some of our deputies have more facial hair than usual.

St. Mary's County Sheriff' Tim Cameron and some Sheriff's Office personnel are participating in No Shave November/December. No Shave November is an annual charity event where men don't shave or cut their facial hair for the entire month of November, raising awareness and money to fight cancer. The St. Mary's deputies and correctional officers participating in No Shave November are donating their money to local charities of their choice. The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office will also continue the event through the month of December.

The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office is advising citizens that the agency is not soliciting money on behalf of this event from the public, so please contact (301) 475-8008 to report any suspicious person(s) who claim to be collecting for this event.
